System Overview
Tuff Duct is the answer to all your outdoor ductwork needs. This weatherproof and watertight ductwork system encompasses rigid board Phenolic Insulation, which boasts double the R-Value of standard fiberglass insulation. With its “Tuff” baked on precoat and galvanized steel outer shell, Tuff Duct is designed to endure extreme outdoor environments. The Sherwin-Williams WeatherXL coating on the outer shell has a 40-year warranty and is also available in a variety of colors that you can select from when designing your project to create an aesthetically appealing exterior ductwork system. The Tuff Duct connection is an industry standard 4-bolt flange (TDC or Slip-On Flange) to aid in the ease of installation. Tuff Duct also includes our patent pending “Tuff Cap” which creates a completely weathertight roof duct product. Tuff Duct is built to SMACNA duct construction standards and all fabrication is done in our state-of-the-art fabrication facility located in Southwestern Pennsylvania. We utilize highly trained Local 12 Union Journeymen to produce a superior product on all levels. Will Rockis
Working on his family farm growing up allowed our Vice President, Will Rockis, to be exposed to many different skilled trades throughout his childhood. After high school, he ventured out to Washington State where he became infatuated with industrial manufacturing and engineering. In the midst of his studies at Washington State University, Will worked alongside some of the largest wood product manufacturers and silviculture companies in the country. These included Weyerhaeuser, Sierra Pacific, and Rayonier. While working with these numerous teams in business endeavors across the country and around the world he was constantly learning under the tutelage of some of the most successful individuals in their field. Will then brought his background into the sheet metal industry working alongside his mentor Steve Hranec to bring TUFF DUCT nationwide.
Carter Harring
Born in Lancaster, PA but raised in a small town outside of Uniontown, PA, Carter understands and exhibits what a strong work ethic can contribute to any business process. Upon graduating from Slippery Rock University with a Bachelor’s in Sport Management and a minor in Business Administration, he continued his education further with an MBA from the University of Baltimore and his Personal Training certification. Over the last few years, he has worked in Operations for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Food & Beverage Operations for Nemacolin Resort, and Human Performance Research for the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute. After several years of successful endeavors those industries, he brought all that he had learned to a personally unfamiliar industry, Sheet Metal. After a few months learning the ropes, he joined Tuff Duct Systems as Mfg. Director to work with Will Rockis in the pursuit of nationwide Tuff Duct sales. When Carter is not at work, you can find him at the gym or spending time with his family and friends. He will talk sports with anyone, but his fandom is rooted in the Black and Gold. He also enjoys listening to music, especially country. Out of all the 25-handicap golfers out there, he seems to have the most fun.
